We rented a house on Sutter Trail and arrived there on Friday afternoon, drove to a couple of scenic spots along the lake, and played cards into the evening.  On Saturday morning, Patrick ran off on a hike near Lower Echo Lake, while the rest of the family barbequed on the deck.  That afternoon, we rented a boat and visited Emerald Bay.  Next, we headed to a buffet dinner at a casino and then played out a ping-pong tourney (Tony was the 2009 Champion).  On Sunday, we packed up and headed home to eat chicken feet, play mahjong, and photograph backyard wildlife.
